once a small quiet fishing town. Thirty years ago, there were about five hundred people living here, and we had some small stores. There was a hill near the town; in spring, there were many beautiful purple flowers on the hill. My family loved taking a walk, watching the flowers or 36. a picnic there. Besides, the beaches at Silver Pearl were long and clean. My brother and I usually stayed there a whole day during summer, playing in the water or waiting for Dad to come back from fishing. Now everything is different in Silver Pearl. Several new roads were built, and they go straight to big cities. There is also a new train station in town. 37. The hill gets flat for their new tall apartments, and the purple flowers are gone. The traffic in the town gets heavy, and the nights in the town become noisy. The beaches are full of people every weekend, and sometimes they become dirty. I see fewer fish but more trash in the water. I don’t like it. For me, 38. . So let’s stand up and do something.
